The Government of Navarra plans to extend its English Learning Programme for the school year 2013-14. José Iribas, the Navarran Education Minister, has announced that the programme will be extended to include a further 20 state Infant and Primary schools, taking the total of schools involved to 60. One of the main aims of the programme is to boost the knowledge of foreign languages amongst pupils in Navarra and to guarantee that all pupils have access to English. The Minister added that having these 60 state schools giving classes in English “strengthens the quality of education in Navarra.” For more information please click here.
