Bacon painting breaks all records!

A painting by the British artist Francis Bacon has become the most expensive artwork ever sold at auction. ‘Three Studies of Lucien Freud’ (1969) was sold in New York for $142 (106m euros)! The painting was bought by an anonymous telephone bidder. It is considered to be one of Bacon’s greatest masterpieces. Click here to read more about the sale on the official web site of the auction house Christie’s.
