ByME attends round table on bilingualism

//14/03/27
ByME, represented by Oliver Escritt, took part in a round table on bilingualism at Aula, el Salón Internacional del Estudiante y de la Oferta Educativa.

The event took place in Madrid on 20 February 2014 and was a great success. The participants debated important topics such as suitable methodology for bilingual classes, teacher training, the role of language assistants, and bilingualism at Secondary level. Take a look in the clips section and you will find an interesting video summary of the round table.

Use these lesson plans from rootsandshoots.org to do animal community projects focusing on animal shelters with your learners and help them celebrate World Animal Day (4 October). The site (created by the scientist Jane Goodall) promotes empowering young people to build a better future in their communities.  On pages 3 and 4 there are plans for lower primary, primary and secondary learners. How much will they learn about animals in their community and animal shelters? (Image taken from rootsandshoots.org website)
