Celebrating 2015 International Year of Light

The Museo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnologia (MUNCYT) in A Coruña will be exploring the properties of light and its applications in daily life in a new exhibition, Un universo de Luz. 2015 is the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies.

The exhibition will explore laser, fibre optics, and tools such as microscopes and telescopes. Visitors will learn about the incredible system behind the human eye and discover natural phenomena like aurora. The exhibits will also look at the evolution of light in art and its use in the treatment of illnesses.

Un universo de luz will be open to the public until 31 August 2015. 

World animal day

Animal community lessons
