One in three university degrees and half of Master’s programmes in Spain will be bilingual, or taught completely in English or other foreign languages. That is the objective outlined in ‘Strategy for the Internationalization of Spanish Universities 2015 – 2020’, a draft document by The Ministry of Education.
José Ignacio Wert had previously announced in Congress that he was preparing this strategy, outlining the need for it because all Spanish universities already have a “high degree of internationalisation”.
The document indicates the need to promote language learning for all teaching and investigative staff, as well as administrative and academic posts. Click here
